Cancellation Policy

At Ranthambore Wild Ventures, the operators of ranthamborewildventures.com, we maintain a clear and transparent cancellation policy. All safari reservations and package arrangements are facilitated in accordance with the rules and guidelines established by the Forest Department, Government of Rajasthan.

1. Safari Booking Cancellation (Gypsy/Canter)

All wildlife safari permits for Ranthambore National Park are regulated and issued by the Forest Department. Once a safari permit request is processed and confirmed, the following terms apply:

Strictly Non-Refundable: Confirmed safari permits (both Gypsy and Canter) are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.
No Rescheduling: Requests to change safari dates, timings, or vehicle options cannot be entertained once a permit is generated by the department.
Incorrect Information: If a permit request is rejected by park authorities due to incorrect identity details provided during booking, no refund will be issued.

2. Monsoon & Weather Closure Policy

If specific safari zones or the entire park are officially closed by the Forest Department due to heavy rainfall or weather emergencies:

Gypsy Bookings: 75% refund of the booking amount.
Canter Bookings: 65% refund of the booking amount.

(Note: If an official permit has already been issued by the Forest Department prior to an unexpected park closure, government permit fees cannot be refunded as they are forfeited at the source.)

3. Booking Requests & Availability

Non-Availability: If a safari or tour package request cannot be confirmed due to non-availability of permits or vehicles, a 100% refund will be issued via the original payment channel.
Confirmed Bookings: Once confirmed, standard non-refundable cancellation terms apply as detailed in Section 1.

4. Tour Package & Hotel Cancellation

For customized tour itineraries and hotel accommodation booked through Ranthambore Wild Ventures, cancellation fees apply based on when written notice is received prior to the check-in date:

(Note: Peak festive periods such as Diwali, Christmas, New Year, and Holi may carry stricter hotel cancellation policies, which will be specified during booking confirmation.)

5. Refund Processing

Mode of Refund: All eligible refunds are processed back to the original source account (Bank Transfer, UPI, or Card).
Timeline: Refund requests typically require 7–10 working days to process and reflect in your account, depending on banking channels.

6. Administrative Limitations

Government Authority: Reservations are subject to modification or cancellation by the Field Director, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, without prior notice. As a tour operator and facilitator, Ranthambore Wild Ventures is not liable for administrative decisions made by government authorities.
Statutory Fee Revisions: In the event of statutory tax revisions or permit fee increases by government authorities after booking, clients will be required to pay the difference to confirm their reservation.
